The BOTANICA women's BJJ rashguard in short sleeve is a warm yellow no-gi top carrying a teal tropical botanical print: layered leaves, flowers and butterflies climbing from the hem across the ribs. It is cut on a women's pattern, not a resized men's block. The design is sublimated, so the colour sits inside the fibres rather than on top and will not crack, peel or fade.

Short sleeve or long sleeve?

Short sleeve runs cooler and nothing grips at the elbow, which matters in a packed summer class. Long sleeve gives you forearm cover against mat burn, which is the reason most people who train no-gi daily end up preferring it. This is the only women's design we make in both, so you can pick by the room you actually train in rather than by what is available.

Specs

Do I wear a sports bra underneath?

Yes, wear your normal training bra under it. A rashguard is a compression layer, not a support garment. The knit is heavy enough to stay opaque when it stretches, so nothing shows through, but it is not built to replace a bra.

Who is it for?

This is the loudest thing we make, and that is the point. If you have spent years in black and navy because that was what came in your size, this is the opposite of that. Warm yellow is a colour almost nobody on a mat is wearing, so you will be easy to spot in a crowded open mat and on video.

Can I get it in academy colours?

Yes. Send your academy colours and logo and we rebuild the botanical work around them, with artwork returned for approval before production. The minimum is 10 pieces and you can mix pieces and sizes within that.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold inside out with like colours and hang dry. Do not iron the print, bleach, or tumble dry on high.
