What makes these grappling shorts?

What is missing matters as much as what is there. No pockets, no zips and no belt loops, because anything a finger or toe can hook is a hazard in a scramble and most academies will turn it away. The waistband is wide soft elastic with no rigid closure, so nothing presses into your back when you are flat on the ground.

Shorts or spats?

Shorts if you want airflow and freedom at the knee, spats if mat burn down the shins is the problem you are solving. Plenty of women wear the spats underneath and the shorts over the top, which is the standard no-gi look and gives you both. Both are on this page.

Yes. Send your academy colours and logo and we rebuild the botanical work around them, with artwork returned for sign-off before production. The minimum is 10 pieces and you can mix pieces and sizes within that.

How do I care for them?

Machine wash cold inside out with like colours and hang dry. Do not iron the print, bleach, or tumble dry on high.
