Details
The ORCHID women's BJJ rashguard is a long sleeve no-gi top on a white base, with blue, teal and violet brush strokes sweeping up the sleeves and across the body, finished with a lilac collar and a lilac AUN mark. It is cut on a women's pattern, not a resized men's block. The design is sublimated, so the colour sits inside the fibres rather than on top and will not crack, peel or fade.
Is this a women's cut or a small men's rashguard?
A women's cut, on its own pattern. It is shaped through the bust, narrower at the waist and slimmer in the sleeve than the men's block, and it runs XXS to XXL on the women's chart. That shaping is what keeps the top flat when someone takes a grip instead of bunching at the chest, and it stops the hem riding up when you post or shrimp.
Cut on a women's pattern, not a resized men's top.
Full-length sleeves against mat burn on the forearms and elbows.
88% polyester, 12% spandex compression knit, around 220 GSM, opaque under stretch.
Flatlock seams and a moisture-wicking knit that dries fast between sessions.

Can I wear it under my gi for IBJJF competition?
Check the current rule book before you rely on it. IBJJF requires female athletes to wear an elastic shirt beneath the gi jacket, but the requirements on colour and print are revised between rule book versions and a multi-colour print is not a safe assumption. For training under the gi it is fine either way.
Be honest with yourself about white
A white base shows everything: mat dirt, a partner's fake tan, the blood from a split lip that you did not notice. It photographs beautifully and it is harder work to keep looking new than any dark colourway we make. Buy it knowing that, wash it after every session, and it will stay sharp.
Complete the set
It is designed to be worn with the matching ORCHID women's shorts or ORCHID women's spats, which carry the same brush work. All three pieces are on this page. Explore more jiu jitsu rashguards and no-gi gear.
Can I get it in academy colours?
Yes. Send your academy colours and logo and we rebuild the brush work around them, with artwork returned for approval before production. The minimum is 10 pieces and you can mix pieces and sizes within that.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash cold inside out with like colours and hang dry. Do not iron the print, bleach, or tumble dry on high.
